Sun

In the mornings the sun is rising above the hill in front of the hotel, which means it can blind my camera. In the picture underneath explains the best position of the kiter for best results. By being a bit down wind of my position, you get cross light👌🏼

From time to time, there might be a lot of people wanting to get some cool shots, so, if you consider you had come in front of me for a few times, maybe is time to go a bit far ( up or down wind ) so others can get closer. Then, come back when you consider ;)

Rotate

Also, when more people around and if you have the skills, try to do circles. So you can come straight to me, then go down wind ( so others can come straight ). Then go to the other side of the lagoon with an up wind direction, so you can repeat the circle.

Afternoon

In the afternoon sun is working in our favor, so, you can move more freely around the lagoon.

Distance

I am using a 200-600 mm lens which can get photos from very far away. But, the farther you go, the smaller you are gonna look on the photos. So , come closer from time to time ;)

Location

The lagoon is a beautiful spot, but here in dakhla we have other spots that can be so photogenic while kite surfing. And these are Speed Spot ( flat water ), White Dune and Secret Spot (mangrove). Book a private session so we can get the best photos of the trip!
